Every year, the Comité interprofessionnel des fromages (CIF) organizes the Fête du Cantal AOP, which takes place on the first Sunday in August.

Gourmet day Cantal PDO Festival

The Cantal PDO festival is an event that brings together all the key players in our region who are involved with this exceptional cheese. Every year, this gathering takes place in a different location, as close as possible to our dairies.

This year, the Cantal Festival will take place at Lac des Graves in Lascelle, near Aurillac and Puy Mary. A magnificent site in the heart of the Parc Naturel des Volcans, Cantal in Auvergne. Discover it on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

A whole program awaits you in a warm and friendly atmosphere, immersing you in the world of our CANTAL AOP cheese.

The main events : Cheese-making, Hiking, Meals under the big top, Free concerts
Various activities, Inflatable structures for children, Producers and their cows, Exhibition of vintage tractors, Cooking demonstrations.
