Eco-gestures during your vacation in the Pays d'Aurillac
During your stay in the Pays d’Aurillac, adopt simple eco-gestures to preserve the beauty of our region. Sort your garbage, limit the use of disposable plastics by opting for reusable containers, and favor soft transport such as walking or cycling when getting around. And don’t forget to respect nature by leaving no garbage behind when you’re out and about. Every little gesture counts in preserving this exceptional environment, and together we can contribute to more responsible and sustainable tourism.
Soft mobility
Cycling or walking
The town of Aurillac is developing infrastructures for soft mobility, such as cycle paths and pedestrian zones, to encourage non-polluting modes of transport.

Public transport
Improved and more accessible public transport also helps to reduce the use of individual vehicles and CO2 emissions. To facilitate transport and relieve parking congestion in the town center, a 100% electric shuttle bus links the town center to the free, closed bus station relay parking lot with 201 spaces. In 2017, Aurillac was the second city in France to have a 100% electric line, after Marseille.
